  co-organized by Leibniz Institute of Photonic Technology in association with Baltic Sea Network “NanoPhoto” Biomedicine and Biophotonics related businesses are currently growing at a breathtaking pace thereby comprising one of the fastest growing sectors of innovative economy. This scientific sector is truly interdisciplinary including very prominently the development of novel nanomaterials, light sources or novel device/equipment concepts to carry out photon conversion or interaction. The philosophy of CTCT-2015 is focused on bringing together scientists from different scientific fields working on development, and testing of novel nanostructure such like upconvertor, silicon-based and carbon-based nanostructures for cancer research (visualization and cancer therapy).
