- Аннотация: The article focuses on the mental operation of comparison, its role in the process of cognizance, and correlation with classification and generalisation. Special attention is given to the representation of comparison in English grammar, namely a(n)-forms of nouns and their morpho-syntactic counterparts expressed by plural nouns with the grammatical omission of the indefinite article, and various attributes as part of the structure under analysis.
