Аннотация:Equations for the calculation of the nonequilibrium capacitance of the electrical double layer are derived on the basis of a rigorous theory of the electrode impedance spectra in the framework of the Alekseev-Popov-Kolotyrkin model. The equations account for a possible decrease in the inner-layer capacitance during the adsorption process and the partial charge transfer in terms of Lorenz-Salie during the specific adsorption of organic and inorganic ions, as well as neutral molecules at the electrode. To illustrate applicability of the equations, calculation of nonequilibrium differential capacitance curves for a number of model systems are performed.
