Аннотация:A new, much faster method of determining the adsorption parameters in the Frumkin isotherm was proposed; it is based on an optimization of the adsorbate-concentration dependence of the two-dimensional pressure. The advantages of the new method relative to optimization methods used previously were demonstrated in the instance of literature data for the adsorption of tetrabutylammonium (TBA+) and tetrapropylammonium (TPA+) ions at the mercury electrode. It was found that in perchlorate solutions, the adsorption of these cations in the form of TBA+-ClO4- and TPA+-ClO4- ion pairs; a particular region of adsorption potentials is associated with each of the two opposite orientations of these ion pairs.
