Аннотация:The authors studied the adsorption behavior on solution/mercury and solution/air interfaces in a series of ammonium derivatives: allylammonium (AlA), diallylammonium (DAlA), triallylammonium (TrAlA), as well as the adsorption behavior of the same substances in neutral form. Moreover, the authors investigated the adsorption of dibutylamine in neutral form and compared it with the adsorption of DBA cations. It is shown that despite the shorter length of the hydrocarbon chain in AlA, DAlA, and TrAlA in comparison with BA, DBA, and TrBA, the gains in the work of adsorption in the transition from a solution/air interface to a solution/mercury interface are somewhat greater for the AlA, DAlA, and TrAlA cations. This conclusion is graphically illustrated by data which present the values of DELTA G calculated according to the formula DELTA G equals RT ln(c//1/c//2), where the concentrations c//1 and c//2 correspond to DELTA sigma equals DELTA sigma Hg equals 2. 5 mN/m.
