Adsorption parameters of 1-AdOH are determined on a mercury electrode in a 0.1 M Na2SO4 aqueous solution at 10-70°C for two cases: (a) free energy of adsorption is temperature-independent and (b) attraction constant in the Frumkin isotherm is temperature independent. In the first case, the entire experimental data may be described under the assumption that only the attraction constant varies with temperature (by a parabolic law), while other parameters of the model of two parallel capacitors (Cθ = 1, Γm, φm) remain temperature-independent. In the second case, a parabolic temperature dependence of the free energy is obtained. To explain the unusual behavior of the free energy of adsorption and the attraction constant with the temperature, it is assumed that this is a manifestation of anomalies in physical properties of water reported in the literature. © 1999 MAEe cyrillic signK "Hayκa/Interpcriodica".
