Аннотация:Experiments on off-axis amplification of picosecond UV pulses in discharge excimer XeCl laser have been carried out. The angular divergence of the amplified laser beam was detected to be slightly larger than that without amplification. The divergence of a gaussian-like beam with 45 mm diameter was found to be 1.3 times larger than the diffractional limit, the UV pulse energy being 50 mJ.
