The objective of the action research is twofold, first, to work out the possible ways of integration of MOOC in a blended CLIL course and to design interactive tasks and activities based on MOOC materials, second, to analyze the pedagogical impact of this intervention on developing student language skills and collaboration skills. The analysis based on the qualitative and quantitative data (post-intervention questionnaire) demonstrated the learners' positive attitude to this intervention due to the following possibilities: getting familiar with the theories and terminology on EFL teaching and learning, sharing ideas and experiences on the MOOC forums with the learners from all over the world, and finally, improving immensely their writing skills, digital literacies and EFL terminology knowledge.
