Cellular microrheology of blood is determined by the biomechanical properties of blood cells populations, namely red blood cells (RBCs, or erythrocytes). RBCs are characterized by deformability which depends on: (1) surface-to-volume ratio; (2) cytoplasm viscosity; (3) conditions of protein complexes of membrane cytoskeleton. The latter represents a system of protein-protein interactions which is highly regulated aiming at supporting the microvascular tissue perfusion according to the metabolic demands of the organism at stress or high physical duties. Knowledge of the specific mechanisms of blood cells micromechanics regulation opens new perspectives in clinics for treatment of hemorheological disorders at social important deceases (diabetes mellitus I&II, arterial hypertension, etc.) The reported study was supported by RFBR grant 18-32-00756 mol_a (experiments development and design) and RSF grant 18-15-00422 (analysis of the obtained data).
