Laser scattering studies of structural and dynamic colloidal properties of protoplasm and blood. Chapter in book: Trends in Colloid and Interface Science VII, pp.81-84книга
Аннотация:We have investigated some structural and dynamic properties of such complicated biological colloids as protoplasm and blood. These properties are manifested by phase transitions and aggregation phenomena which can only be studied in situ inside a living cell or an embryo or, in the case of blood, shortly after the preparation of the sample. We have shown that laser Doppler microscopy and backscattering nephelometry can give new information on basic intracellular mobility mechanisms, dynamic patterns of the developing fish embryo, and aggregational properties of red blood cell, sensitive to different pathologies.
