- Аннотация: Memory clinics have been working in Moscow, Russia, since 2016, aiming to deliver neurocognitive rehabilitation to old age patients with mild cognitive impairment. Memory clinics are the part of the public community mental health service. A neurocognitive rehabilitation program (NCRP) is designed to work with the cognitive, physical and social activation of the patients. An NCRP includes a variety of therapeutic activities: cognitive training, group psychotherapy, medical gymnastics and medical management. At admission and discharge, patients undergo examination by a psychiatrist, clinical psychologist and exercise physiologist and assessment of cognitive functions using a set of scales and tests.The results of pilot research showed improvement in MMSE scores by the end of the program from 24.0±3; Me 25.0 (23.0; 26.0; CI 95%) to 26.0±2; Me 26.0 (26.0; 28.0; CI 95%), Wilcoxon test p < 0.001; effect size 1.11 (n = 115). Individual perception of general and mental health improved significantly according to the results of SF-36. General health improvement from 51.56±18.4, Me 55.0 (40.0; 67.0; CI 95%) to 54.9±18.0, Me 55.0 (40.0; 67.0; CI 95%) scores; p < 0.05 (Wilcoxon test), effect size 0.18. Mental health improvement 60.3±17.4, Me 60.0 (44.0; 72.0; CI 95%) to 66.4±17.0, Me 68.0 (56.0; 76.0; CI 95%) scores; p < 0.001 (Wilcoxon test), effect size 0.36 (n = 87).In this chapter, we share our experience of organizing memory clinics in Moscow, with a detailed description of NCRP course sessions.
