- Аннотация: The 1:5M International Geological Map of Asia is a major collaborative project undertaken by the CGMW Subcommission for South and East Asia in conjunction with the Subcommissions for Northern Eurasia, the Middle East and Seafloor Maps under the aegis of CGMW and with the support of UNESCO and IUGS. There have been over 100 geoscientists from Cambodia, China, D.P.R. Korea, France, India, Indonesia, Iran, Iraq, Japan, Kazakhstan, Laos, Malaysia, Mongolia, Myanmar, Pakistan, the Philippines, R. Korea, Russia, Thailand and Vietnam involved in the map compilation, Ren Jishun from Institute of Geology, Chinese Academy of Geological Sciences (CAGS) and Jean-Paul Cadet from CGMW taking charge of general coordination. The project has been substantially supported by the China Geological Survey (CGS).
