- Аннотация: The article is devoted to the main content of Gas-Solid Chromatography (GSC). It is a significant field of Gas Chromatography in which a gas phase is used as a mobile phase and a solid phase is used as a stationary phase. The main adsorbents used are described. The retention of compounds in GSC and the zone broadening in capillary gas adsorption columns are discussed in the article. The methods of preparation of capillary adsorption columns are enlisted. Finally, the widespread use of GSC is touched upon.
