- Аннотация: The records of Collotheca mutabilis (Hudson, 1885), (Rotatoria, Collothecidae) in Lake Glubokoe. E.A. Mnatsakanova This study presents the second record of the occurrence of the rotifer Collotheca mutabilis (Hudson, 1885), in the Glubokoe lake (Moscow region). Long-term observations dated back to 1897, indicated this species in spring 1903 – 1907 as “not infrequently”. Hereafter no findings was done. We found C. mutabilis in the pelagic zone of the lake, in June – September from 2005 to 2017, but not every year with its density 1 -3 individuals per liter. A peculiar feature of morphology – bulbous swelling on the foot – is discussed. Represents drawing and photo of the species.
