Аннотация:Mathematical modeling is an effective method of studying complex energy conversion
systems and testing hypotheses about mechanisms underlying regulation of living systems.
Different types of mathematical descriptions should be used to simulate processes at different
spatial and temporal scales. Such mathematical descriptions can be used to analyze experimental
data, to simulate interactions of biological macromolecules, and to qualitatively describe
observed nonlinear phenomena. We applied kinetic models and multiparticle Brownian
dynamics to study regulatory processes of different nature occurring in photosynthetic apparatus
of algae cells under starvation and leading to a switch between modes of active photosynthesis
and photosynthetic production of molecular hydrogen mode.
