Аннотация:Proposed method of the pseudo-random shuffle sweep generation is fully realized in the GDS-II electronics and allows for arbitrary number of sweeps generated right in the field and in real-time, thus eliminating necessity of sweep pre-computation and hardwiring them into vibrator electronics firmware. The generated frequency-modulated signal guarantees that a vibrator can work at a steady force and no vibrator force adjustment is necessary. Simultaneous sweeping with randomized shuffle sweeps results in a reliable mixed signal shot record separation into individual responses for subsequent data processing and interpretation. Field tests demonstrate that the acquisition time reduction is significant while delivering the same high quality seismic data and, for example, the same project time can be reduced by the factor of four in the case of using one four-vibrator fleet when compared to the traditional acquisition with linear sweeps.
