Аннотация:Flexible solid polymer electrolyte (SPE) films with polyvinylideneflouride-co-hexafluoropropylene (PVdF-HFP) incorporat- ing sodium thiocyanate (NaSCN) were prepared by the process of solution casting techniques. To improve ionic conductivity further, trihexyl(tetradecyl)phosphonium dicaynamide ([P666, 14+][DCA ̄]) ionic liquid (IL) was used as a dopant. Electrical, structural, electrochemical properties of these ionic liquid doped polymer electrolyte (ILDPE) were studied in detail. By dop- ing IL, conductivity increases and attains maxima at 0.4 weight percent (wt%) of ionic liquid (IL) concentration with ionic conductivity value of 5.3 × 10−4 Scm−1. Using maximum conducting ILDPE, sandwich structure supercapacitor (electric double-layer capacitor (EDLC)) has been developed at laboratory scale which shows reasonably good performance having specific capacitance of 57.8 Fg−1 at 10 mVs−1 using cyclic voltammetry and 38 Fg−1 using galvanostatic charge–discharge analysis.
