Аннотация:The thermal decomposition and combustion of guanidinium 5,5'-azotetrazole salt (Gu2AzT) have been investigated. Temperature profiles in the Gu2AzT combustion wave were measured using thin tungsten-rhenium micro thermocouples. It was shown that combustion of the salt obeys the condensed-phase mechanism. The high burning rate of Gu2AzT is connected with the high decomposition rate in the melt. The kinetic parameters of the controlling chemical reaction have been estimated, and a detailed combustion mechanism for Gu2AzT has been proposed.
