of
radiocesium

is
governed
by
the
ratio
of
radiocesium
chemical
forms
in

and
site-specific
environmental
characteristics
determining
the
rates
of
leaching,
fixation/remobilization,
as
well
as

of
the

(its

Distinct
features
of
the
environment
on
the
Fukushima

territories
are
discussed
from
the
standpoint
of
predicting
migration
and
bioavailability
of
the
radiocesium
of

Measured

"solid"
wash-off
coefficients
obtained
for
run-off
plots
in
Fukushima
contaminated
areas
almost
corresponded
to
those
of
Chernobyl.
lt
was
found
that
the
total
"solid"
wash-off
coefficient
of
radiocesium
from
farmlands
is
high
and
reaches
5%
per

for
some

Generally
high
precipitation
in
the

steep

promote
higher
