Аннотация:The reactions of methylal and dimethoxyethane cation radicals generated by gamma-radiation in frozen solutions of methylal (0.001-2 moles/liter) in Freon at 77 K or in pure liquid ethers were studied by EPR methods using spin traps in the liquid phase and matrix isolation in the CFCl3 and CF2ClCFCl2 Freons. Depending on conditions, a proton transfer, an H atom transfer, or a fragmentation of the primary cation-radical occur in methylal, and in dimethoxyethane, in addition to the ion-molecular reactions, an intramolecular hydrogen transfer and several fragmentations effectively take place.
