- Аннотация: This paper explores the use of sanctions as an instrument for regulating international relations, which is currently a common practice in world economic policy. The authors focus on the recent sanctions imposed on the Russian Federation by Western countries and the resulting unpredictable challenges to the Russian economy. Sanctions have become a central issue for discussion among international experts and the general public due to events such as the Ukrainian crisis. This paper aims to identify the extent of the sanctions and the possibilities of countering them through cooperation with neutral BRICS countries, specifically Brazil
