Аннотация:The article summaries the results of the analysis of the seismicity at rockburst
hazardous apatite-nepheline deposits located at the Khibiny rock massif and mined
by the Kirovskky and Rasvumchorr mines. As the initial data the authors used the
results of seismic monitoring according to the data of the automated monitoring
systems for the state of the rock mass at the Kirovsky and Rasvumchorr mines of the
KB JSC Apatit. The analysis made has revealed the main regularities in the
development of the seismic process, the generation and localization of potentially
hazardous zones during the development of the Khibiny rockburst hazardous
deposits over a ten-year monitoring period. The main areas of increased seismic
activity have been identified such as areas near active mining and console part of the
uncaved rock mass located at the hanging wall of the ore deposit. Periodic activation
of various geological and structural heterogeneities of the rock mass has been
revealed. An increase in the number of strong seismic events in the lying wall of the
ore deposit has been noted, with such events often occurring in the depth of the rock
massif. A significant impact on the activation of seismicity of increased watering of
the rock massif has been noted. This factor especially impacts on seismicity in the
Tsentralny open pit in spring periods due to abundant snowmelt. The performed
studies once again prove the efficiency of the long-term seismological monitoring of
the Khibiny mines as a tool for real-time control of the rock mass condition, which
allows a mining enterprise to plan and carry out timely preventive measures to
prevent occurrences of rock pressure and minimize risks in case of such
occurrences.
