Аннотация:Presented are results of spectral analysis of time series of average seasonal wind at the level of 30 mb for 1970-1978. The length of realization was 6-7 months and was shifted with a spacing of 3 months. The annual course of spectral intensities with periods of 20-35 days is discovered. The maximums of the envelope of the spectra occur in winter. For winter 1972-1973 we carried out two-dimensional analysis, which allows separation of the propagating disturbances with different wavelengths. The increase in the wave activity cannot be linked to hydrodynamic instability.
