Аннотация:A theoretical model describing the volumetric homogeneous crystallization of a substance is proposed, which takes into account the formation of nanoclusters in a supersaturated phase and the appearance and growth of nuclei by means of attachment of the nanoclusters. Linear stability analysis is used to show that a system in which such a mechanism is operative may feature self-sustained bound oscillations of the supersaturation of the crystallizing substance, the density of nanoclusters and the solid phase particle size distribution. An equation for a surface of neutral stability of a steady crystallization regime is obtained. The conditions for the appearance of the nonlinear self-oscillations are found.
