[1] Nuclear size isomers: The excitedstates of light nuclei with cluster structure and nonstandard sizes / A. A. Ogloblin, A. N. Danilov, A. S. Demyanova et al. // Nuclear Particle Correlations and Cluster Physics. — 2017. — P. 311–338. Recently the methods of determining the radii of short-lived nuclear excited states (the modified diffraction model, methods using inelastic nuclear rainbow scattering and asymptotic normalization coefficients) were developed. Though model dependent they allowed getting evidence of the existence of nuclear excited states with abnormal radii. Two groups of such “size isomers” were identified: those with neutron halos and some alpha — cluster states. Most of these exotic structures were observed in stable nuclei 9Be, 11B, 12C, 13C in experiments with stable beams.
