Аннотация:Stimulated low-frequency scattering spectra in a suspension of two morphologically similar viruses, Alternanthera mosaic virus and Potato virus X the frequency range 1–60 GHz, were calculated andsuccessively measured under the same conditions. Differences in the values of the eigen frequencies of the studied viruses were found. These frequencies make it possible to identify viruses and act on them to suppress their activity. The difference in the low-frequency spectra of stimulated scattering of laser radiation, despite the similar morphology of the virions, is due, in our opinion, to the difference in the mechanical properties of the viruses.
