Аннотация:The composition of the surface layers of binary melts Ni84P16, Ni81P19, Ni78P22 and Ni82B18 during changing temperature and isothermal holding was studied by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy.
The jump-like changes are detected in the local environment of atoms in the investigated melts, which are explained as structural transformations within the liquid state.
There is a non-monotonic behavior of the composition of the surface layers of binary melts deal with the transition to the equilibrium state, and depending on the interaction between atoms on the surface.
