Аннотация:The hypothesis concerning existence of “modal participles” inEnglish was put forward by Professor Smirnitsky. The concept underconsideration is closely connected with the global research conducted atthe English department under the supervision of Professor Akhmanova,who was A.I. Smirnitsky’s most devoted follower and disciple. It wasverified and confirmed in reference to polyfunctional phenomena in theEnglish language. At present the work is being continued with respect tothe theory of linguistic creativity development, which is especiallyimportant in terms of the new technologies emergence and the need foroptimal ways and formats of communication.
