Аннотация:The initial interest in borphosphates by the Chemical faculty of Moscow State University appeared at the end of the ‗60s in the past century in connection with a search for suitable boron compounds for their introduction as quality micro additions to phosphate fertilizers of prolonged action. At the same time according to the literature [1-3], borphosphate proved to be active in reaction hydration of olefins to corresponding alcohols. This circumstance has served as the stimulating motive for broad study of the structure and catalytic characteristic borphosphates commenced under the direction of academician S. I. Volfkovich and Professor K. V. Topchieva. Crystalline borphosphate is isostructural to α-crystobalite with the parameter of the elementary cell a = 0.4330 and c = 0.664 nm. The lengths of the bonds P - O and B - O accordingly are 0.154 and 0.144 nm [4]. It is notable that heating under high temperature waterless borphosphate form has a correct interleaving of the bonds P – O – B.
