Аннотация:The study of the guiding effect has continued in different aspects. This effect makes it possible toimplement the contactless transmission of accelerated-charged-particle beams along a dielectric surface. Inparticular, under interaction with a dielectric plate, the guiding effect ensures the transmission of protonbeams without ionization energy loss. An experiment on the grazing interaction of accelerated proton beamswith a curved dielectric wall is carried out, in which the proton beams are pressed against the wall surface byan external electric field. The energy spectrum of the beams involved in this interaction is measured. Comparison of the energy spectra of the initial beam and the beam transmitted in the grazing mode along a curveddielectric wall shows that, under this interaction, as well as upon grazing along a flat dielectric wall, the protonbeams do not experience ionization energy loss.
