- Аннотация: A new mathematical model for the ideal pressure swing adsorption (PSA) process with full recuperation of the waste flow energy is proposed. Based on this model, the limiting values of efficiency and exergy loss are calculated. Using the process of air separation as an example, it is shown that in the typical range of the values of technological parameters, maximum efficiency for the isolation of pure oxygen does not exceed 0.63, while the minimum exergy loss is in the range 26-31 J/mol. ┬й 2005 by Allerton Press, Inc.
