Аннотация:Since the World Health Organization announced the Coronaviruspandemic, governments have adopted a number of policy measuresaiming to alter the public’s behaviors such as quarantine, lockdown, socialdistancing, or stay-at-home orders. There are a great deal of variations inregard to the scale, scope, and strictness of these measures across countries(Yan et al., 2020).The best results wereachieved by China (4,853 deaths, 0.0003% of the population), HongKong (207 deaths, 0.003% of the population), and Japan (9,353 deaths,0.007% of the population). Kazakhstan and Russia are doing better in thefight against Coronavirus than Europe and the United States.This article aims to provide an explanation as to why equal measuresto combat Coronavirus applied in various countries have resulted indifferent outcomes. The study analyzes effective management strategies ofEast Asian countries and Western countries, and concludes that regionalculture shapes overcoming the Coronavirus pandemic.
