Аннотация:Using catalytic isobutanol conversion to generate C2-C4 olefins and C6-C8 aromatic hydrocarbons has been investigated over MFI-type zeolites-based catalysts synthesized by a hydrothermal-microwave method. MFI zeolites with different SiO2/Al2O3 ratios were synthesized either in the sodium form with further transfer to the proton form or directly in the proton form. The effect of Zn-Cr promoters was investigated. The synthesized materials were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy with energy dispersive analysis (SEM-EDX), low temperature adsorption-desorption of N2 (N2 sorption) and temperature-programmed desorption of ammonia (NH3-TPD). It was shown that a lower SiO2/Al2O3 ratio and Zn-Cr promoters improved the selectivity towards C6-C8 aromatic hydrocarbons and a higher SiO2/Al2O3 ratio is favourable for achieving a higher selectivity towards C2-C4 olefins in isobutanol conversion.
