Аннотация:In the present paper, Monte Carlo simulation is used to obtain model OCT signals from horizontally oriented 1.1-mm thick blood layer at different stages of red blood cell (RBC) aggregation and sedimentation processes. The parameters for aggregating and sedimenting blood cells were chosen basing on the data available from literature and our earlier studies. We consider two different cases: a suspension of washed RBC in blood plasma, which provides necessary conditions for aggregation. Nice correspondence of the obtained simulation results with the available experimental results shows that chosen optical parameters are reasonable.
