- Аннотация: Hypothalamic peptide hormone — somatostatin — has a broad spectrum of activity, particularly through direct and indirect mechanism antiproliferative effect allows its use as an effective antitumor agent. However, the extreme instability of this substance in the body requires the creation of stable synthetic analogues possessing similar to the natural hormone therapeutic activity. Creation of new somatostatin analogues, the study of their mechanism of action and spectrum of antiproliferative activity and the development of dosage forms is promising areas of modern science.
