Аннотация:Photonic crystals (PC) are structures with the spatial period compatible with wavelength of light. Therefore the similarity between the light propagation in PC and the X-ray propagation in crystalline solids can be expected. For example, Borrmann effect initially discovered in crystalline solids was recently observed in PC. In this work the dynamics of the light pulse propagation inside the linear PC at the Laue scheme studied. It was predicted analytically that the femtosecond laser pulse can be spatially separated into two, transmitted (T) and diffracted (R) pulses (fig. 1). Each of them, in turn, is separated into two pulses with different propagation velocity, which is associated with redistribution of the field of an initial pulse between the layers of PC, i.e. temporal separation occurs.
