Аннотация:The radiolysis of acetone with 8 MeV electrons at 293, 323, and 329.5 K (boiling point) in 30–180 kGy absorbed dose range was studied. Almost 30 primary molecular products have been found, including those not previously observed. Among the products, 1-propen-2-ol acetate, 2-methoxy-1-propene, and vinyl acetate were registered, which indicates the participation of enolized intermediates in radiolytic transformations. Vinyloxy and 2-propenoxy radicals are their probable precursors. The enhancement of enolization with increasing temperature, dose rate and radiation-induced acidification of acetone is discussed. As a result of enolization, a significant increase in the yield of hydrogen, water, alcohols and unsaturated products is observed.
