Аннотация:The authors studied the impact of seasonal (climatic) factors on traumatic injuries in employable urban depending on sex, age, time of injury, and the character of the traumatizing effect. The study was aimed to evaluate the impact of the complex of meteoelements on the traumatic injury rate in the urban male and female population of different employable age in the city of Vladimir (Russia). The study was based on the data on the daily traumatic injury rate and the rate of emergency calls for medical help. The main climatic parameter in the study was a complex parameter “effective temperature” that was based on the account of temperature, air humidity,atmospheric pressure, and wind speed. The calculations were based on the data obtained during a 6-year period.The study provided grounds for the possibility and correctness of the method “dose-effect”. A model of multiple regressions for the effective temperature was used with the account of the elasticity coefficient. It was established that there were dependencies in the rate of traumatic injuries in the population of Vladimir, in general, and separately, for male and female population by the parameter of the daily rate of emergency calls in response to the change of the effective temperatures. It was shown that up to 11% of cases of traumatic injuries in employable men and up to 32.5% of cases in employable women were associated with seasonal (climatic) factors.For women, the dependence “dose-effect” has an expressed non-linear character. It is represented by a curve with two evident peaks and an unidentifiable trend. The Poisson distribution test was used for the statistical analysisof the daily rate of emergency calls.
