Аннотация:The results of the investigation of the Bi influence on structural, magnetic and magneto-optical properties of the Bi/Co thin-film are presented. The Bi/Co samples were grown by magnetron sputtering using Co and Bi targets. The thickness of Co layers, tCo, was equal to 5 nm and the thickness of Bi layer, tBi, was varied from 0.2 to 10 nm. It was discovered that the values of saturation field and coercivity increase with increasing the Bi layer thickness. The shapes of TKE spectra are similar for all the studied samples. This finding suggests the absence of Bi-Co compounds near the interfaces of the studied samples. The TKE values of the Bi/Co samples decrease at tBi > 0.5 nm as compared with those of the single-layer Co film. The decrease in TKE values of the samples at tBi > 0,5 nm is caused by the influence of the Bi layer.
