Аннотация:The paper deals with the Russian multichannel discourse and is based on the data of of the Russian multichannel corpus RUPEX. During the annotation of the cephalic channel in the #22 recording (three video files featuring a narrator, a reteller and a commentator and lasting approximately 54.5 minutes) two new types of pragmatic head gestures were revealed and dubbed Pragmatic center and Pragmatic away. These types of gestures differ from the other types by the fact that they are two different strategies for switching the listener's attention to another speaker’s kinetic channel, for example, manual.Keywords: Multichannel linguistics, oral communication, gesticulation, head gestures, pragmatic gestures
