- Аннотация: This article presents data on the analysis of purines and pyrimidines by LC/MS. In this paper are given information about the biochemical properties of these compounds and their biological role. The article describes the procedure of the analysis of these compounds by LC/MS with the sample preparation step to obtain a specific result. This article presents reference ranges of normal levels of purines and pyrimidines and changes of these values in various pathologies, such as hereditary diseases in children. This article is intended for clinicians, laboratory diagnostician, and specialists in the field of clinical genetics, pediatric neurologists.
