Аннотация:Yeasts number and diversity on pollen of some anemogamous plants being leading pollen allergens in a midland of Russia were studied: birch (Betula pendula), alder (Alnus glutinosa), avellan (Corylus avellana) and oak (Quercus robur). Experiments were carried out in city, forest-park and forest zones. In 5 years of monitoring 16 yeast species were isolated from pollen of anemogamous trees. Throughout the entire period of studying Candida oleophila, Cryptococcus magnus, Rhodotorula glutinis, Rhodotorula mucilaginosa dominated on pollen. It was shown that yeasts communities associated with pollen of anemogamous trees in various habitats were formed of epiphytic and euribiotic ascomycetous and basidiomycetous species. The average yeast population on pollen was found to be 10 3 CFU/g.
