Аннотация:The search for alternatives to hydrocarbon fuels remains a trendin scientific research. Microalgae (MA) as a feedstock for the biofuelsproduction remain an actual object of research among other types ofbiomass, and the scales their using are increasing. Among the producingbiofuels technologies hydrothermal liquefaction (HTL) is promising since itallows to process wet biomass and convert all carbon-containingcomponents (lipids, carbohydrates) into fuel. The cultivation of MA usingwastewater in combination with biofuel production is promising, as the costof nutrients (fertilizers), CO2 emissions and the load on fresh waterresources are reduced. In addition, the hydrothermal liquefaction processleads to the formation of a significant amount of an aqueous phase, which isa by-product, has limited energy value and also needs processing. The article shows the experimentally achieved degree of nutrients utilizationby microalgae from wastewater and an HTL-aqueous phase.
