Аннотация:A 6 m reflector with a dispersion of 27 A/mm and a wavelength range of 3900-5000 A was used to obtain spectra of T Tauri. Radial velocities of T Tauri are derived using the absorption lines. Fast variations are observed in the 22-41 km/s range with an average value of 29.5 + or - 1.1 km/s. A fairly accurate modulation of the radial velocity is found to have a period of 2.8 d, established through the use of photometric data (Herbst et al., 1986). From collected data it is concluded that changes in radial velocity are the result of a saturation of the photospheric absorption lines by the emission lines originating in unstable chromospheric regions.
