Аннотация:In this paper, the effect of dysprosium partial substitution by terbium and gadolinium on the structure and magnetic properties of the compound Tb0.2Dy0.8Co2 was investigated. As a result, two compounds were obtained: Tb0.3Dy0.7Co2, Tb0.2Dy0.7Gd0.1Co2. Their crystal lattice undergoes rhombohedral distortions when going into a magnetically ordered state, in contrast to the original Tb0.2Dy0.8Co2, where they are tetragonal. As the temperature decreases, magnetostructural transitions are observed and the distortions become tetragonal. Anomalies of the magnetostriction and the magnetocaloric effect in the region of the observed magnetic phase transitions in these alloys are studied.
