- Аннотация: The purpose of this work to find the most efficient way to study the thermodynamic functions of the formation of rare earth elements (REE) with other elements of the Periodic Table. Study of the REE and their compounds is very complicated by two factors: firstly, they are highly reactive and can react chemically with oxygen, carbon dioxide, water, etc.; secondly, the presence of various impurities in REM may lead to incorrect results during a pilot study. As an object of research we selected the rare earth tellurides (RE2Te3). The study of the thermodynamic properties of rare earth tellurides by electromotive force (EMF) was launched under the leadership of Professor Y. I. Gerasimov in 1970.
