Аннотация:Consideration is given to stationary magnetic fields that exist in kinematic dynamo theory at arbitrary magnetic Reynolds numbers. The simplest example of such a field is a nonzero averaged field in infinite space. The dampling mechanism associated with dissipation leads in a finite system, as a general rule, to a damping time tau that varies as the square of the characteristic dimension, L-squared. Tau goes to infinity as L goes to infinity; therefore, damping vanishes in the limit of L going to infinity. In this paper it shown that it is possible to construct an analog of this situation with finite dimensions. The maintenance of stationary nondamped fields turns out to be possible in periodic velocity fields. The question of the existence and number of such solutions is examined.
