Аннотация:Nematode communities were studied at 9 stations at depths from 18 to 91 m in the eastern part of theLaptev Sea during the ARK 63 cruise of the RV Mstislav Keldish using a Neimistö corer. Samples werecollected along a 500 km 130.5◦ E latitudinal transect. The 14 major meiofaunal taxa were recorded.Nematodes were the dominant taxon (68%–91%), followed by harpacticoid copepods (2%–7%). A total of95 nematode genera were identified. The families Xyalidae (13 genera) and Chromadoridae (11 genera)contained the highest numbers of genera. One of the Arctic ice nematode genera, Cryonema, was foundfor the first time in sediment. Analysis of the feeding types showed the dominance of nematodeswith the 1B and 2A feeding types. The vicinity of the Lena Delta obviously plays an important rolein the taxonomical structuring of nematode communities. The mixing of sediments and settling ofresuspended matter with Lena River discharge can cause a vertical redistribution of the sedimentlayers, which may have both positive and negative effects on nematodes.
