Аннотация:The report presents an application of the asymptotic averaging method for determining the effective elastic moduli of dispersed composites with an aluminum matrix, reinforced with boron carbide particles, using two-dimensional images of the structure. The values of the Young's modulus calculated for plane-deformed and plane-stressed states almost coincided (with the same concentrations of B4C), which allows to conclude that the calculated results are reliable and confirms the possibility of using two-dimensional images to calculate the effective elastic modules of the real composite. The dependence of the Young's modulus of the dispersed composite on the boron carbide content is linear for a small concentration of boron carbide (<20%), and as the B4C concentration increases, the graph becomes steeper.
