Аннотация:The physicochemical properties of highly disperse ZrO2-based phases prepared by seven methods were studied by X-ray powder diffraction, X-ray crystallography, and differential thermal analysis. The stabilization of a nonequilibrium tetragonal phase is significantly affected by water retained by the ZrO2 structure up to some 800-1000 degreesC. Regardless of the ZrO2 preparation method, the metastable tetragonal phase transforms into an equilibrium monoclinic phase at temperatures between 700 and 1000 degreesC.
